Take a relaxing stroll in the morning, away from the busy town, through the beautiful rice fields of Bali especially the Ubud and Jatiluwih rice fields. Along the way, you will cross green areas and learn about Bali's traditional medicine herbs.

Herb Walk is a unique opportunity to explore the prolific plant life that flourishes
here.  Familiarize yourself with a wide range of native plants and herbs. Learn to make identifications by sight, smell and taste.  Gain insight into the techniques and practices of traditional and contemporary Balinese herbal healing.  Be introduced to the plants that are used for first aid, emergencies and the treatment of chronic illnesses.

The river is the source. 

Many undisturbed places guarantee to hold surprises for visitors of all ages.  A short stroll along the beach gets you to Kalisada, a laid-back traditional village still unspoilt by the impact of mass tourism, where people are exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

For survival, the children of Muntigunung must spend many hours every day carrying water to their homes.

Our projects are enabling these children to attend school.  The trek to Muntigunung, led by women who were formally beggars before they joined this project.
